Founder and Director, Indian Academy for Clinical and Dental GeneticsTM (IACDG)
Dr. Gargi Roy Goswami earned her undergraduate degree in Dentistry (BDS) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
Before her BDS, she completed a postgraduate degree in Applied Genetics (M.Sc. Applied Genetics, Bangalore University).
Her primary research interest caters to the field of Oral cancer genetics, and has more than ten years of experience.
With a passion for revolutionizing Dentistry, Dr. Gargi Roy Goswami has focused on introducing an interdisciplinary mode of education by conglomerating the knowledge of genetics, genomics, biotechnology, and bioinformatics with Dental and Clinical medical sciences.
To promote interdisciplinary scientific education and bridge the present gap between the understanding of basic sciences and clinical sciences, Dr. Gargi Roy Goswami has come up with "Indian Academy for Clinical and Dental Genetics (IACDG) first of its kind in India.
To make a mark and fulfill her dream, Dr. Goswami has launched a start-up dedicated to her father, Dr. Kamalesh Roy Research and Diagnostics Private Limited (KROYNAS). This is the first company in the country which caters to online education and training pertaining to Dental Genetics and Saliva Diagnostics.
To place a mark in the scientific community, Dr. Goswami has been organizing the International Summits of Saliva Symposium in India since 2019.
