SINGAPORE: The International Dental Exhibition and Meeting (IDEM)—the leading conference in the Asia Pacific region—will return to the legendary Marina Bay Sands hotel from 19 to 21 April 2024. The 13th edition of the event will be brought to life through the collaboration of the Singapore Dental Association and Koelnmesse and is expected to draw more than 8,000 visitors from 70 nations.

Besides the more than 500 exhibitors offering the latest technology for all dental specialties, IDEM 2024 will provide a multitrack scientific programme, including hands-on workshops. Representatives of companies from the largest markets, including the US, Brazil, Germany, Italy and Switzerland, have indicated that their respective national pavilions in 2024 will be larger than ever before. The gathering will offer unparalleled opportunities for those looking to introduce their brands into the Asia Pacific market.

Lae Douangpraseuth, the head of business development for the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, commented in a press release: “Without a doubt, the feedback from the France pavilion exhibitors has been overwhelmingly positive regarding IDEM 2022. We are delighted to hear that they are satisfied with the event’s organisation, and we are proud to have provided them with a platform to showcase their products and services to a global audience. In fact, we are thrilled to announce that many of our pavilion exhibitors have already expressed their interest in returning for IDEM 2024, which is a testament to the value they see in this event.”

Because of the popularity of the event, IDEM 2024 will offer an increased number of meeting spaces, including meeting pods. The scientific conference will be held on one level of the convention centre, and the exhibition—encompassing nearly 17,000 m2—will be held on another level.

Dr Lawrence Yong, president of the Singapore Dental Association, shared in a press release: “IDEM is a platform that provides dental professionals a unique opportunity to interact with the industry’s leading minds and leading companies. The IDEM 2024 conference theme combines expertise from both research and practice under the theme of ‘Exceptional Dentistry: Techniques, Technologies and Trends’, and will provide a platform for dental professionals to explore new advancements and innovations in the field that they can take back to their dental clinic.”
