Mumbai, August 04, 2025: Laxmi Dental Limited, a dental products company, announced that its Board of Directors has approved an investment in IDBG AI Dent Global Private Limited (“AI Dent”), a Gujarat-based healthcare technology company focused on artificial intelligence applications in dentistry.
Upon completion, Laxmi Dental Limited will hold 58% of the capital in AI Dent. The objective of the acquisition is to strengthen the company’s research and development and expand its technology offerings. The move also supports India’s efforts to promote domestic manufacturing and self-reliance under the 'Make in India' and 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiatives.
