Dental ED took dental education to a new level in India with its recent speaker Dr. Maxim Belograd. The three day hands-on course was held between 24 to 26th of August 2018 at Novotel Hotel, Juhu, Mumbai and led by Emanuel Recupero (CEO DentalED), Dr. Anand Mohatta (Dental ED Manager, India), Dr. Akshay Chaudhari, Dr. Adit Mehta and the fifteen person Dental ED team. The course was attended by forty seven participants from across the globe.

Dr. Maxim Belograd is a specialist in the field of advanced microscope dentistry with a private practice in Kiev, Ukraine. His occupation is endodontics, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He is the owner of Belograd Study Club, co-organizer of MicroVision group, official trainer of Zeiss Dental Academy, active member of StyleWorld, DSD master group and an international lecturer. In 2004 he qualified as a dentist in Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy, Poltava. He moved to Kremenchug and gained clinical experience in the Governmental Dental clinic. In 2006 he owned a private dental practice. In 2009 he was the winner of the Ukrainian competition for direct restorative techniques 2009, Prisma Championship. He is founder of the training course 'Endodontics according to the rules'.

The hands-on consisted of veneer preparations, DSD, photography, composites (indirect and direct techniques) and rubberdamology conducted under microscopes and loupes. The hands-on had an overwhelming response from all the delegates who appreciated the knowledge, quality and level of education shared in the event. One of the highlights in the course was the demonstration of prepping of teeth in 3D that made a lasting impression on the participants. This technology was brought to us by the support of Zumax.
