Dental ED made a grand entry into the Indian sub-continent with their first hands-on course with Style Italiano taking dental education training in India to a new level.

Founded in Australia in 2003, Dental ED is a leading provider of dental hands-on courses and advanced study clubs across the globe. They were one of the first companies to introduce web conferencing and streaming sessions over the internet to the dental world back in 2003.

“Not only have we set a new benchmark in hands-on courses, but we are also preparing to introduce our advanced study club network here with the world’s top presenters” said Mr.Emanuel Recupero, Managing Director, Dental ED.

On 21 July 2017, Dental ED officially launched their first advanced hands-on course programme in India. The course mentor was the founding member of Style Italiano group Dr. Walter Devoto. It was held at the Novotel, in Juhu, Mumbai and was led by Dr. Anand Mohatta (Dental ED Manager, India) along with his team Dr. Akshay Chaudhari, Dr. Adit Mehta, and Dr. Kripali Thakker as well as in attendance was, Mr Emanuel Recupero MD, Dental ED.

The event consisted of a lecture session followed by a 2 day hands-on course program on Style Italiano principles. "We had a fantastic response for the lecture session with more than 250 participants from all over India, Malaysia, Maldives and Australia. Around 50 participants registered for the hands-on course. It was for the first time that such an event was organised at this level and successfully conducted with such a large number of participants in Cosmetic Dentistry”, said Dr. Anand Mohatta, Dental ED Manager, India .

The lecture and hands-on sessions consisted of newest and latest techniques in Composite Dentistry using high-end instruments and equipments to complement the course.

The next course from Dental Ed India will be a 3-day advanced hands on course in December 2017 with Dr. Maxim Belograd. “This will essentially be a mini pros course combining microscopes with new techniques in veneer preparations, posterior inlays and rubber dam application, DSD, photography and much more. Our team is already looking into the registrations for the event. We are quite excited about it.” said a Dental Ed India team member.

The details of their next programme is available on their website www.dentaledglobal.com
