In association with Style Italiano, team integrate recently organised a two-day workshop with Master Clinicain Dr. Murad Akhundov, who is from Baku, Azerbaijan. Team integrate is a group of expert clinicians with over two decades of academic experience. As a group, their objective is to mentor and teach motivated practitioners to enhance their skill so as to execute complex procedures independently.

"The Style Italiano group, from Italy, believes that modern day procedures can be simplified to the extent that they can be feasible ,teachable and repeatable." says Dr. Darshan Parulkar, member of team integrate.

The Style Italiano group started by Walter Devoto and Agnelo Putignano has expanded to include currently 24 members. Each of these members is a renowned speaker and an astute clinician.

Dr. Murad Akhundov, is an aesthetic dentistry specialist at the Dental Revue clinic in Baku, Azerbaijan. He lectures around the world extensively about aesthetics in the anterior and posterior segments. He also is fond of Indian food and loves coming to India.

At a workshop, organised by team integrate on 21 and 22 January 2017, Dr. Murad conducted a hands-on course, titled "Artistic posterior restorations".

Posterior restorations are one of the most commonly executed procedures in everyday dentistry, Dr. Murad, demonstrated various tips and techniques on posterior restorations which were mind-blowing," said Dr. Madhur Kodnani, team integrate.

Using high magnification, Dr. Murad demonstrated both the conventional isolation, layering and finishing procedures and also showed his own, yet to be published, fast-modelling technique. The participants were encouraged to work under magnification and also emulate the same technique.

"We got to learn the latest in bonding techniques from the master himself. At the end of the course, I am confident that my restorations with be technically sound and of course artistic," said one excited participant from Mumbai.

All participants were certified by Style Italiano.
