Dr Pawan Krishna Murti
Dr Pawan Krishna Murti is a dental professional and public health researcher with a strong academic foundation in dentistry, epidemiology, and evolutionary health. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master’s degree in Public Health Dentistry from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, India. She later completed a Master’s in Health, Ecology, and Human Evolution at Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France. Recently, she completed her internship at the Laboratoire Évolution et Santé Orale in Toulouse, where she conducted research on the genetic and evolutionary aspects of wisdom teeth, contributing to a broader understanding of the evolution of oral health. Dr Murti has also completed a range of specialised courses from prestigious global institutions, including Imperial College London, Utrecht University, Johns Hopkins University, and the World Health Organisation, focusing on public health, epidemiology, and biostatistics.
She currently serves as a panel member at Asia Research Partners LLP and volunteers as a reviewer for the Journal of the Indian Dental Association (Madras Branch). Passionate about public health research and community-based dental care, Dr Murti is dedicated to advancing oral health through interdisciplinary collaboration, scientific inquiry, and evidence-based practice.
