From November 1st to 3rd 2021, Ulpia Periodontics Summit will bring together top-tier specialists to approach the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases and other fundamental aspects of the periodontal practice.

Dr. Kakar is affiliated with MGM dental college in Mumbai and lectures extensively in India and around the globe while maintaining an exclusive Perio and Implants practice. He is passionate about electronics and is an avid software developer.

Academic Qualifications 1978-1981 - BDS from Nair hospital dental college, Mumbai 1983- 1985 - MDS in Periodontology from Nair Hospital Dental College.

2. Dr. Rajeev Chitguppi: Periodontal Disease Pathogenesis: Current Paradigms

Dr. Chitguppi, MDS Periodontics, is a clinician, independent researcher, and educator in dentistry. He is the Research and Marketing Head, ICPA Health Products Ltd - involved in product development, branding, and marketing. He is also the Executive Editor, Dental Tribune South Asia. Rajeev's interests include microbiology and immunology. Currently, he is actively involved in Covid-19 research - simplifying the latest research & complex concepts of virology and immunology to help people understand the developments better.

4. Dr. Sanjay Jain: Lights...Sound...Action...The Real Issue to Treat the Tissue

Dr. Jain recommends himself as India’s first trainer for real-time Dynamic Surgical Navigation for implants, an invited speaker in many international conferences, Ex-Professor and PG teacher at M.A.Rangoonwala College of Dental Science in Pune.

He’s been conducting exclusive perio implants - laser practice for the last 19 years and also been holding courses and hands-on on this field at Faculty - Bio-Horizons Implant Prog, India

He was the only Indian invited to deliver the main podium lecture at the 1st Asian-Pacific Division of WFLDC held in Beijing, 2019

5. Dr. Bianca Nazareth: The Why, When and How of Soft tissue Augmentation

Dr. Nazareth is a Periodontist from India who has been in Private Practice focused on Periodontology for the last 14 years. She has a special interest in soft tissue augmentation around teeth and implants. She has spoken on various platforms in dentistry. Her other interests are traveling and the theatre where she is both an actor and a playwright.
