Mumbai , India: The first international 3D Cleaning congress was held on the 2nd and 3rd of February 2019. The congress was powered by Innovations Endo & Dental Masters academy. The first of its kind congress focused on the biological aspect of the endodontic procedures.Around 200 delegates participated in this unique congress from within India and overseas. Delegates from Iraq, Egypt, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Nepal ,Bangladesh and Australia participated in the congress.
The congress started with pre-congress workshops on 1st of February which included hands on workshops on several topics like Minimally Invasive Access Cavity preparation by Dr. Alfredo Iandolo,Prof , 3D Cleaning and Obturation by. Dr. Alberto Dagnaand Dr Luca Ivaldi from Italy, Isolation with rubber dam by Dr.Shibu Shreedharand Post endodontic restoration the Bioclear way by Dr.Pratiek Gupta. A total of 85 delegates participated in the pre-congress workshops
The main congress was held at hotel Novotel Juhu, Mumbai. The event was inaugurated by Padmashri Padmabhushan Dr. Anil Kohli, Dr. Sanjay Miglani, President (APEC) and Secretary General of Indian Endodontic Society, Dr.Anand Mohotta President of MACE , Dr. V.S. Mohan President (IAACD) and Dr. K.S. Banga were the Guests of honour .
The congress had a blend of researchers and finest clinicians who shared their expertise in the field of Endodontics with the delegates. There were 12 brainstorming sessions by Professor Dr. Alfredo Iandodlo, Dr. Alberto Dagna, Dr. Dina Abdelatiff,Dr. Maurizio Signorini, Dr. Luca Ivaldi, from Italy and Dr. DanielaBololoi from Canada. Keynote speakers from India were Dr.Vivek Hedge, Dr.Gopi Krishna, Dr.Nikhil Bahuguna, Dr.Pratiek Gupta, Dr.Garima Poddar and Dr.Mandar Pimprikar

There were 17 scientific paper presentations and 9 e-posters prizes were distributed to the winners in their respective categories.The congress also had a trade exhibition and 13 companies participated and displayed their range of products
